New to Hartlepool, Little Wonders Nursery opened in 2025 with the aim of providing flexible and affordable childcare for parents in the local and surrounding areas.
We operate on a strong ethos built around child-led, play-based learning and the concepts of Hygge and The Curiosity Approach.
Our nursery setting has been carefully designed with our ethos in mind, providing a calm and tranquil space for children to learn, explore and discover the world around them in a supportive, safe environment.

Purpose-built nursery
The building was constructed specifically for providing nursery provision to the local community. As a result, we have a homely, semi-open-plan space which can be easily reconfigured to allow us to cater to the children in our care.

Little Wonders is all about giving children the space and freedom to engage in immersive, child-led play in a calm, safe and comfortable environment. Each space is furnished for a cosy feel, and provides spaces for quiet time and self-regulation.

Secure, private garden
Little Wonders has a beautiful, large private, secure garden. Featuring a courtyard hugged by the building, and a grassy green space at the rear of the property, there is space for all our little ones to run, play and explore the natural world.

Nutrition-driven meals
Our nursery cook prepares meals fresh every day, with a focus on nutritional balance to ensure your child's growing body and developing brain get what they need. We are a peanut-free nursery, and cater to various dietary requirements.

Our tried-and-tested ethos combines ‘The Curiosity Approach’, hygge principles, a focus on wellbeing, and a home-from-home environment for a unique and stimulating experience for all children.

Regular updates
When you join us, you'll be given access to the Famly app, where we share updates throughout the day. We keep parents posted on everything from nap times to activities and what their child has had to eat.
